1. How long does it take to build a custom pool?
On average, a custom pool takes 8 to 12 weeks from breaking ground to completion, depending on complexity, weather, permitting, and inspections.
If you are building a new home with a developer or custom home builder, we closely coordinate with their construction schedule to ensure the pool is integrated seamlessly into the broader project. Depending on site access, utilities, and staging, certain pool phases—such as excavation, plumbing, and final finish—may be scheduled to align with specific milestones in the home build. In these cases, the total pool timeline is often spread over several months to match the overall home construction sequence.
We will work directly with your builder to optimize the timeline and minimize disruption or rework.
2. What is included in your pool construction service?
We offer a full turnkey service: design, permitting, excavation, construction, plumbing/electrical, finish work, and startup. Optional features like spas, lighting, automation, and landscaping can be added as part of your custom build.
3. Do you handle all permits and inspections?
Yes, we manage the entire permitting process and coordinate all necessary city or county inspections to ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
4. What are the steps involved in building a pool?
The pool construction process includes design consultation, engineering, permitting, excavation, steel/rebar framing, plumbing and electrical work, gunite or shotcrete application, tile and coping, interior finish, and final clean-up and startup.
5. What types of pools do you build (concrete, fiberglass, vinyl)?
We specialize in custom gunite (concrete) pools, which offer the highest level of design flexibility, durability, and long-term value. We do not install fiberglass or vinyl liner pools.
6. Can I add a spa, tanning ledge, or water feature to my pool?
Yes. We offer a variety of custom features including integrated spas, sun shelves, bubblers, waterfalls, deck jets, LED lighting, and fire bowls to enhance your pool design.
7. What kind of pool equipment do you use?
We use top-tier equipment from trusted and reputable brands like Pentair. This includes variable-speed pumps, filters, automation systems, heaters, and saltwater chlorinators.
8. Do you renovate or remodel existing pools?
Yes. We offer pool renovations including resurfacing, retile, equipment upgrades, lighting enhancements, and complete redesigns of existing pools and decks.
9. Do you offer pool maintenance and service after construction?
Yes. We offer ongoing maintenance, cleaning, and seasonal service plans to keep your pool in top condition year-round. Our service division is trained to handle all equipment repairs and upgrades as needed.
10. How soon can you start my project?
Start dates depend on current workload, permitting timelines, and project scope. After your design is finalized and the contract is signed, we typically begin within a few weeks, pending permit approval which could take four to eight weeks.
